Thanks for expressing interest in Saddlebrook for travels to Wesley Chapel in conjunction with Dick’s Sporting Goods Tournament of Champions.  The actual tournament dates are Dec 29, 30, and 31 – 2015.  This email is designed to forward to all team families.  This allows everyone to review, discuss, and place/guarantee their own room reservations.  There is a reservation form attached PLEASE ADVISE FAMILIES TO NOTE THE TEAM NAME WHEN RETURNING THE FORM. 

There is a block of rooms for the tournament…we are holding 300 of our 500+ rooms.  There are no “team blocks”…it is an event block.  Again, everyone places and guarantees their own room reservations.  This takes you out of the middle of deciding travel dates, rooms types, and providing a financial obligation for “team rooms”.     

Saddlebrook is just 10 minutes driving time from the tournament location - Wesley Chapel District Park at 7727 Boyette Road Wesley Chapel 33544.  Saddlebook is 30 minutes driving time North of Tampa Intl Airport (TPA) via Interstate 275 North which becomes Interstate 75 North…we are just one mile East of Interstate 75 on State Road 54 (exit #279).  There is a $15 per night valet parking charge OR a REMOTE complimentary self parking area (shuttles transfer guests from car park area to resort lobby entrance).  Our address is 5700 Saddlebrook Way Wesley Chapel FL 33543   

Saddlebrook's best assets are a self contained resort within an upscale gated community offering luxurious suite accommodations providing all the comforts of home AND resort activities offering something for everyone - golf, tennis, Spa, Superpool, dining, and more.

There are three room types available…a brief description of each is attached.  There is a confirmed package available to all tournament attendees visiting Dec 23 to Jan 3, 2016.  The package inclusions and per occupant, per night prices are below…the per occupant relates to all room occupants (adults and children):

One Bedroom Suite      $225 single, $132 double, $102 triple, $86 quad   

Two Bedroom Suite      $160 double, $120 triple, $100 quad, $88 quintet, $80 sextet

Three Bedroom Suite   $162 triple, $131 quad, $113 quintet, $101 sextet, $92 septet, $86 octet   

Confirmed nightly rates are dependent upon room type and number of total room occupants (adults and children).  There is a two night minimum stay required. 

Here’s an example…a family of two adults and two children equates to four occupants.  Should you choose the One Bedroom Suite, it’s $86  x four people = $344 per night for the package purchase. 

All nightly rates are subject to 9% taxes.  These above rates include the per room per night access & amenity fee providing daily Fitness Center admittance, unlimited local and toll free phone calls, unlimited standard wireless internet access in sleeping rooms, daily in room “self serve” coffee/tea, and daily newspaper available in the lobby.  Check in is after 4pm and check out is prior to 11am.

The lacrosse package includes a complete breakfast buffet each morning for all occupants. This is a private dining area exclusive to all tournament participants and their family members.  There are additional on property restaurants and lounges for dining - Tropics Restaurant, Dempsey's Steakhouse, TD's Sport's Bar,  Dempsey’s Too, Dempsey’s Too Lounge, Poolside Café & Pool Bar,  and Room Service.  You can view all restaurant menus on line http://www.saddlebrook.com/tampa-dining/   Additionally, there are plans for deeply discounted Poolside dinners (Dining under the Stars) for all tournament participants during primary tournament dates.  We also featured Dive In movies poolside! 

Private team dinners are available at varying prices depending on banquet menu selection.  When confirming a private team banquet one team representative is our contact and this one person is responsible for menu selections, guarantee attendee numbers, and full payment … this person collects from their team and this one person pays us (there are no “separate checks” in a banquet setting).   Would you like our Catering Director to connect with you to further discuss this option?

Golf fees range $50 to $145 per player – 18 holes – cart and green fees + 7% tax – Dick’s Tournament of Champions resort guests receive an $80 per golfer (18 holes – cart and green fees) discount rate during their Dec 23 to Jan 3 visit

Tennis fees range $14 per court per hour to $35 per court per hour – depending on court surface

Bicycling is $15 per bike per day, $7.50 per ½ day, or $4 per hour

Superpool is compliments of the Florida sunshine (resort guests only) – there are actually three pools on property – 270’ free form Superpool, Serenity pool (ages 18+), and Sport’s Village pool

SKID’s Club at $80 per child full day, 40 per child ½ day (ages 4 to 12 9am to 4pm) – SKID’s lunch is $6 per day  

Walking/jogging trails are mapped and measured

Sport’s Village area offers basketball, tennis, ½ football field-turf, and large recreational field for additional sporting activities

There is a transportation coordinator on site.  This person works with various local independent transportation providers to confirm transportation requests.  Currently, a 6am to 11pm TPA shared van transportation is $80 per person - roundtrip (reservation only).  TPA transfers outside this time are available via private vehicles at appropriate pricing (available upon request).  The Transportation desk is 1-800-729-8383 x 4455.
